Floyd Medical Center is a not forprofit, 304-bed acute care hospital and regional referral center covering over 40 medical specialties, including three Destination Centers and five Joint Commission-certified disease-specific programs. The Floyd family of services also includes Polk Medical Center, Floyd Behavioral Health Center, the Floyd Primary Care Network, Heyman HospiceCare, Floyd Outpatient Surgery Center, Floyd Physical Therapy and Rehab, and the Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program.Floyd is the region’s largest employer, with more than 2,500 employees who work alongside a medical staff of over 300 physician specialists and a volunteer force of more than 250.

Harbin Clinic is the largest privately owned multi-specialty physician group in Georgia. The staff includes 140 doctors who represent more 30 different medical specialties and sub-specialties including medical and radiation oncology. The Harbin Clinic offers full lab and radiology services, including a 64-slice CT Scanner, High-Field MRI, Extremity MRI and bone densitometry. Harbin Clinic’s main campus is located at 1825 Martha Berry Boulevard in Rome, Georgia. There are 20 satellite offices located throughout Rome, Calhoun, Cartersville, Cedartown, Adairsville, and Summerville.

Redmond Regional Medical Center is a 230 bed acute care facility, serving as a referral source for all of northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama. Including its healthcare partners, Redmond has over 245 physicians with more than 30 specialties and a support staff of approximately 1,200 associates. Redmond offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient programs, many of which are unique to the northwest Georgia region. Nationally recognized as a top cardiac care center, lifesaving open-heart surgery is regularly performed at Redmond. Other areas of excellence include emergency care, urology services, orthopedics, vascular care, an inpatient rehabilitation unit and more. 

The Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition, Inc. is a collaboration of ten counties in Northwest Georgia whose vision is to build a national model of comprehensive rural cancer control working to develop exemplary cancer related education, communications, prevention, early detection, treatment and research programs in this region. As a nonprofit organization, the Coalition works with local hospitals and cancer centers, community groups, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and government agencies to bring high quality resources to Northwest Georgia to ensure the best cancer care for our citizens.

Cancer Navigators, a nonprofit organization based in Rome, GA, serves Northwest Georgia as a complement to the medical expertise of cancer care providers by guiding those affected by cancer toward a better understanding of diagnosis and care and connecting them with needed resources in their journey.
